Westfield Megablade - SVA /Road Legal Exhaust ??

I've just bought one on a wim for what I thought was a great price and significantly less than the amount spent on parts by it previously owner. Maybe I'll live to regret such a spur of the moment purchase, but the build quality & condition are all 1st class. It came with a folder full of receipts which suggest everything is new except only for the engine which has been recon'd.

The build was completed in '07 but it was never put through the SVA test so it's not Road legal/ registered and has done only a couple of track days since.

I'm contempleting checking it out over this winter and hopefully getting it SVA'd & road legal in time for next spring - hopefully with '59' plate as the only component that is recon'd is the engine - not 100% about this.

It's currently running with a bike exhaust w/o a CAT ..and oh boy it's a real screamer!! The engine is out of a '97 Honda Fireblade which I'm told needs a CAT to get it through the SVA test(emissions ?). Can any one on here confirm this is the case ? If so, can someone point me in the right direction as to where where I might get a SVA complaint exhaust from for a Honda Fireblade based Westfield ?

This is my first 'kit car' foray ...and anything SVA or 'Bike' related for that matter too !!
