HE says he called them "chumps"..... they maintain otherwise.

But if he did use the word chumps, how sweet! I haven't heard that expression for about 40 years. What an old fashioned chump he is!!

It's a good way to ensure your party isn't in power after the next election.

Out of two people, incredibly I'd believe someone from The Sun on their version of events compared to "mortgage" Mandy.

Wouldn't it be fun if the Sun went after the details of Mandy's financial arangements now....

It most certainly would. There are more skeletons in that closet than in a medical school I reckon.

Here's hoping they do !!!

Mandy is growing on me!

He has no fear at all. In every other interview, the politician goes immediately on the defensive and bats helplessly at aggressive questions.

Mandy sits down, winks at the interviewer, takes them to power-school, and fks off.

He is the best media operator I think I've ever seen. Totally dominant.

But for a few odd sympathies, he'd make a great Prime Minister, Cameron wouldn't stand a chance across the despatch box.

Agreed. Perhaps you're right: 'completely corrupt' is a better way of saying 'odd sympathies' biggrin

I've said this before, but, I absolutely love Mandy.

He's like a 21st Century Talleyrand; he prospers no matter who is in power. Undeniable political genius.
