For a specialized rockhopper (£600ish)

going to centre parcs next week and need a lock anyway, so will spend if it's worth it, do I need another lock for the wheels? Something that's sold in local shops would be good as I don't have time to wait for delivery!

Thanks!

the kryptonite fahgettaboudit http://www.parker-international.co.uk/6772/Krypton... sure they are expensive but you will never need another lock and thieves know all about the reputation so even in dark alleys they will walk past a rockhopper (no disrespect!)

lots of people i know use the oxford revolver too

For the money im really pleased - it will take some serious abuse to get through it

Only problem is it weighs a ton!

I'm not a fan of Oxford at all, do a search for 'captain cropper' on YouTube, I have an Oxford monster at home and it's made of cheese!

I bought a Kryptonite New York 3000 from that site because they'd ran out of Fahgettaboudits, was difficult to find a place to mount it on my frame!

Personally, a NY3000 with a cable through both wheels and a half decent (£25ish) cable lock through the front wheel and frame.

If you have both, they need more tools - a jack won't get through a cable and bolt cutters shouldn't get through a D
