Every time I mention a small problem I'm greeted with 'that's normal, all TVRs do that!'
Do they?
Mine leaks but apparently 'they all.....ect ect.
What else have you lot had this response to?
Yes, they all do that unless you fix the leak, then they stop doing it. Same with most of the common problems.

Mine goes like stink!
Hi Rita.......looking forward to the racing season?...
You won't get too much of response about negative TVR things on this forum.
Every car has it's little foibles......they are hand built after all.
We all prefer to state just how amazing they all are......
Hope to see you at a race track soon.....
...//P//Either of mine leak - never.
One jammed belt fixed first week of warranty...
On par with other minor faults in various Bmw's, vw's,vauxhall's fords I've driven.
I think what is being said is (on any car) some can do that, and of the things they can do, these are the things that can happen with TVR's..
Of course it makes a huge difference if it is a year old Tvr (ie griffith) or an 10 year old car (i.e another griffith.
If the 10 year old one leaks, has the roof every been reproofed, ie autoglym cabriolet fabric conditioner, or thomsons seal, have the seals around master/cylinders, lights, etc been redone (both very small jobs, but necessary.
If newer, and/or window seal not adjusted quite right, the galass can be adjusted in the dorrs, roof not quite on right. if left out all the time just use the roof reproofer once a year or more often.

Oh God
I didn't mean for it to sound negative!
Absolutely THE best thing I have ever bought.
Hiya Rita......
Don't panic....I just thought I'd mention it because I notice you have only just joined the forum.
Good to have you on board...........it's a very friendly place to chat TVR and the Tuscan Challenge forums are a real hoot, especially in the summer when there is some racing going on.

Wol used to use a little oil, went for a service with those nice chaps at Autotune, hasn't used a drop since.
And the oils nice and clean too!

This thread was an attempt to compile a complete TADTS list.
