Dare I ask why?
I somehow doubt you'll improve it.
I imagine you'd have to remove most of the engine management, and find some way to keep just the ignition bit working. How hard that is will probably depend quite a lot on what model of corsa it is.

well i my friend is a mechanic so he will do the work only if i know what will be needed to do first, i was going to get a 1.6 single point engine and put my multi point head on it, i was not sure if i disconnect the plugs to the injectors if it would still run, i would'nt have thought so though, what are the main wires i will need to keep on it? i'l need the tdc crank sensor, but if i have carbs that will affect the air sensor i think? the model is a corsa b 1.4 multipoint injection 81bhp engine code c14se, but the engine i have got has scores down 3 barrels so i was woundering my options for a engine to go striaght in? same mounts and wires, cheers

hi there cheers for getting back to me, i have a corsa b 1.4 multipoint injection, 81 bhp, but it needs a new engine so i was goin to get a 1.6 astra engine, i'd like to get something with the same mounts so i dont have to weld or play with it, but the carbs are only a idea, i wasnt sure how the wiring works on the engine and wasnt sure what will be need to run it with out the injectors?

How fast do you want to go? Redtop will fit, I would imagine the Z18XE from the C would too. Whats the most powerful engine that came with the B?

well i just want abit more poke really, but i dont want to mess about with the mounts or hubs, i want to get an engine to go straight in with the existing wires if i can, it doesnt really need carbs but i have some spare at home as an idea, will the z18xe engine go in with out mods? and what car is that engine from? i did think about a cavalier engine 1.8 8 valve, any ideas smile cheers john
