hey everyone

i remember seeing a few posts a while back of people haivng issues with stuck mileometers etc but cant for the life of me find them! is it easy enough to take the dial apart and manaually wind the counter on etc?

Several posts that they unstick over 140mph (not recommended in mainland UK) and driving backwards, most, as I did, had to whip them out and send them off to Speedy Cables.

Mine actually stuck a second time within 2000 miles of the first time, but that did actually unstick itself after a couple of hundred miles. Drive it for a while and see what happens smile

I've had to take mine apart a few times to do this. I just gently prised the bezel off and then went from there.... smile

Just give it a damn good tapping while driving, it "should" move round. You'll only have the same greif next time it reaches a 10,000 interval.

excellent ill see what i can do

ive not heard good things about speedy recently, apparantly they "lost" a black cerb rev counter and speedo!

Ouch, that's gonna prove expensive! IF you can find a replacement.
