Gutted myself Jonny but as i said on the Greatest Run Ever, for once in my life i have to let the head rule the heart.

I will be still kicking around, and i will return (in a wedge)of some capacity.

I have a 2 year plan that i have to fulfill first then my garage will be once again full of v8 noise of the wedge kind, the best kind!!!!!!!!!

Regards

Rob

Classic well timed accomplished overtaking proceedure my man, I dont know what suprised me the most, the way the dual carraigeway ran out or when i looked in my rear view and seen Jonny, Hamish and Jeff had all nipped in to.

Hi Tony

Missed a belter run last week mate.

Nah, wedges all the way, toyed with the idea of a cerb, then a massive jump on the work front made me put the sensible cap on.

Back in a wedge in no time with a bit of luck and hard graft.

Be over to see the boat one day, and still a keen pair of hands here for the wedgefest should you need me.

Take it easy mate.

No worries Rob, Don't know whats going to happen with the Wedgefest yet, have'nt had time to think about it! May have to pass it over to some willing mug person or persons
as I'm run off my feet at the moment.

And if you think owning a Wedge is expensive.....damn boat is costing me an arm and a leg at the moment, some mechanical gremlins and replacements to some worn out/missing gear are emptying my bank account faster than a TVR at the fuel pumps! But should have the boat licked into shape soon ....hopefully before the Bank Manager has a heart attack.

Maybe we should start a 'Wedge-Withdrawal' section for us hangers on frown

Good luck with the sale Rob...I'm sure we'll be meeting up again.

Half the enjoyment of owning a Wedge has been the fun on here, and the lovely people I've met over the past few years. smile
