London West End - anything going off just now?

MrsC has called to say there are multiple sirens, emergency vehicles, etc, around the Charing X area at the moment. Anyone seen or heard anything? Nothing on the news sites at present.

I am almost opposite Charing Cross, but there is nothing of note going on. I rather assumed it was a dangerous prisoner transfer to the High Court.

Thats spooky,as at 9.30 this morning I had 4 Metroplitan Police BMW 5s and a dark green LandRover 90 whizz past me,sirens blazing.At least2 front seat passengers appeared armed.Not THAT odd except this was in Park Gate,nr Fareham,Hampshire.
