Whats happened to the V8 Supercar that came to our shores?

I'm sure a few of you remember this, guy on here bought an ex supercheap racing Holden Commadore V8 Supercar and had plans to race it over here. Been very quite on that front for a while now and would love to know if it's up and running and what the plans are for it next year? Anyone know?
