Can i search a member by their proper name???

Can any body help??? I need to search a member by their real name and not user name, can it be done?

why not just ask and if they are on here you can talk off forum can't you??? do they have a nickname or area where they live, its worth a try is't it???????????? use there initials

But it doesn't seem to work that well. Searching Tempy finds me, but Searching by my name doesn't find anything.

Try searching first name then scrolling through the search results. Worth a shot.

Can you not say what their forum name is, someone might know who it is and then PM you? Or is that not a done thing?

Funny you should say that as that's exactly why i haven't done it, is that not forum etiquette??? I dunno i'm just a simple country boy

just had a play in the members directory, put my full name in and nothing, only put my first name in and bingo, it works, both by searching within forum names and proper names by the looks of things, the search fuction might not recognise spaces??. Give that ago, if that fails, I'm at a loss, sorry.
