Just fooling around on youtube, and here's my mad fantasy since first watching drag racing aged 18.

- Sitting at the traffic lights in my town in one of these. rofl

Turn it up 'til the windows are rattling, and wait until he (eventually) blips the throttle. Mental ! cloud9

Awesome!! .. and I thought my old SEAC was loud! Reminds me of a Goodwood FOS a few years ago when they fired up "Rat-trap" in the paddock.

Naa,

Sammy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=JD-ODO8XOK0&fea... - I was there when the tower windows blew out.

Here's a couple of favourites from my Favourites:

Aus turbo Tina from 25 sec's: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xo9ATPBhU4M

Peurto Rico - Note the ET and the way he just re-starts the car and drives back to the pits as if it's no big deal:

I'm sure there's better vid's of Sammy's Vanishing point but to those that never saw this car please note it's not a jet so no turbine noise:

Cheers Phil....some great vids there. smile

Fastest thing on wheels I've ever seen was a Hydrogen Peroxide car from the states that did a couple of runs at the Pod. I think around 3.5 to 380. eek

Witnessing it, I just remember thinking that surely something couldn't move that quickly, and that there was a couple of seconds silence afterwards as people closed their mouths. hehe

It was in the Guiness book of records at the time as the world's fastest accelerating vehicle.

I'm just fed up of looking in my bloody mirror, and every other direction on the roads these days. The fun has gone. frown
