Will it be possible to see both shows in one day without missing too much?

Yes...

Once upon a time the Classic Car show used to be in all five halls at the NEC, then it was reduced to 4 halls to accomodate MPH. Then reduced again to allow for the live action show attached to MPH... Net effect is three smaller events adding up to the same area.

What I did find was at about 4pm the place empties, so I wouldn't rush to get there too early. Arrive for 11 or 12 see the MPH and stunts first and then stay in the 'empty' Classic Car show until they chuck you out, at about 7. It is amazing how much ground you can cover, in 1hr, when the crowds have gone.

Last time I was there I was an exhibitor, by virtue of doing the DREAM RIDES charity event (Sporting Bears). I was able to do both ends of the day. Arrived at 07:40 in the morning, by the back gate. Parked my car in the Dream Rides area and had a good 1.5hrs before the public were let it to wander an chat. Then once it got busy I was on the DREAM RIDES, then late in the day it went quiet and I was free to wander off again. Great!

I usually go on the friday, which is a lot quieter.
Best time to look round mph is when the top gear show is on.

David thanks for helping last year with Sporting Bears Dream Rides

If you (and others here) are able to help this year it would help Mick and his team if everyone fills in the forms and posts them to Mick as soon as possible and not leave it to do on the day, also if they’re new or have changed their car to include a spare 6” X 4” photo of the car

As well as the Dream Rides – What’s it all about page there is also a new drivers’ sign-up page here - Sign up page

Also if you could add your name here - PH Calendar

Thanks thumbup
