Well I might as well spill the beans - James and I have come to an agreement on the yellow SRT10. I had another test drive today and put down a deposit

The Dax gets its valuation next weekend and then at some stage after that the deal happens. The sooner the better as far as I'm concerned smile

The Viper will be my daily driver for a few weeks at least so we'll see how that goes. I'm quite excited at the moment biggrin

Well done Andy, Just one friendly word of warning, what with Autumn now approaching just be careful on cold tyres and early morning damp slippery conditions, These cars can bite wink As a matter of interest what tyres are on the SRT? Are they the run flats?

on the road i cant tell any difference between run flats and a new set of PS2's

Paul has had both on his SRT and also cant tell any differences even doing track days, and Paul has done loads of track laps in his mamba

guess if you were pushing hard and timing your laps, and swapping between the two any differences may show then

Thanks guys smile

No idea what tyres are on there so I'll have to assume runflats with only 8.000 miles on the clock. Don't worry about me driving in the autumn though, I've driven through the winter in snow too. It's all about remembering how quickly the available torque climbs. This new beastie puts out something like 90% of maximum torque from 1,900 rpm so a delicate touch required I think wink

Probably going to be another two weeks before I can actually lay my hands on the car. The waiting is getting to me already biggrin

Would upload a picture but can't seem to get that to work...

Going to do a driving day too once the budget recovers (will be saving for the next set of tyres obviously!). That ought to be real fun smile

Can anyone host a picture for me? Just a little mobile phone shot but I can't seem to upload it for some reason frown

www.tinypic.com

then just copy and paste the code for forums, or send it to me within a couple of hours ill sort it

to give you an idea of tyre costs i was quoted last month by partsrack which seem to be the cheapest $1650 (not including any shipping costs)

I was wondering about breaking up the yellow too. Might get a single stripe over the bonnet and boot. Going to have to take some proper photos and then play in Photoshop to decide what I want...

Here's hoping I get the car before the weather completely turns eh? biggrin

Anyone got any pictures of stripey SRT-10s?
