Front subframe mounts
Discussion
For the very best handling, steering precision and roadholding, you need the solid-type. A full set is needed and they are not difficult to fit. I normally fit the front ones first then, leaving them slightly loose, drop the sub-frame down about 1" to allow for access to the top and rear ones. Use copper-grease when re-fitting the top tower bolts and use new bolts and nuts on the lower rear ones which go through the front bulkhead.
You will get slightly more vibration with the solid mounts, but it's worth it for the improvement and the fact that you'll never have to replace sub-frame mountings again. It makes it steer and handle like a Mk. 1 and Mk 2.
