If they dob't call a eu referendum, either way ratified or Not...

I want a referendum....

I might EVEN vote yes!!!

But only if I'm convinced....

the thought of eu an president blair, with his previous election manifesto(con trick), we will have a referendum, only to be signed away in a back room by Brown. is really making me irrationally angry.

No (but then I can't see myself voting again).

Small government, low tax, libertarian parties don't seem to exist, so sod democracy I'm holding out for an Anarcho-capitalism state.

We're about to get small government whoever is in charge; we're so skint right now, 100k+ civil serpents are going to be getting their P45s in the next 18 months, there will be a lot of bloodletting. No low tax though, as we have a large overdraft. Try not to worry, get some popcorn in, sit back and enjoy the trainwreck that UKplc is about to become.

If we get a referendum (pre or post ratification of the [-]EU Constitution[-] Treaty of Lisbon) then yes.

If not, then I don't see why they are different to the other 2 parties, and my vote will go to smaller parties/independents.

I truly believe we could soon see a sea-change in British politics. Whether our parliament is worth voting for if all the rules are passed down from Brussels is another question.

me too. The likes of Fittster are nearly as much to blame for the last Labour government as the idiots who actually voted for them.

Rubbish, I have rejected the system. By participating (even by the use of a spoilt paper) you are accepting the system, simply chaning the monkeys in charge. The lower the turnout the weaker the mandiate behind the system.

So by your logic you can complain about red, blue or yellow, me I'll complain about the weaknesses of representative democracy.

+1 Don't vote, it only encourages them.

The one thing that really worries me about the Tories getting in is the Euro-loonies taking over. There are plenty of thing wrong with the European union - but plenty more thats very good about it, and taking our toys home to play with them alone is daft.

I agree with the sentiment but do you think that the arrogant old fools in whitehall actually really care about the votes? unless the monarch orders a new system we are stuck with it.

I don't believe the current system will quitely move aside but collapses and revolutions do happen. Big government appears to equal big debt, maybe that will lead to it's downfall.

if you don't vote then you are simply providing a viewpoint that you don't care, which is entirely the opposite of your true thoughts. So by doing nothing you will achieve nothing.

Mass voting shows that politicians can be removed from power and that is what they fear most.

UKIP could make a difference if enough people voted for them and thats the problem.

Much as I support UKIPs basic idea - get us out of the EU - I'm not sure they are 'main stream' enough to get through to joe public.

They just seem to be aiming at the people that understand the real problem with being in the EU.

But I must get round to emailing them and asking thier stance on the motorist/cars.
