I'd agree with above. Maybe a bit more because of the low mileage and spec. Please don't scrap it. If you don't want it anymore, let someone else enjoy it.

I have a 51 plate 320i SE saloon with 58k on the clock. I was offered £3500 by a BMW dealership as part exchange, on Friday of last week.

Well, I guess its a benchmark of a trade bid for a car that will have some relationship to the price of the OP's car. What that relationship is, is of course another matter!

It isn't, but some people have an inflated idea of the value of their vehicles. I for example thought I would get more for mine when trading in and spending £26k!

Surely the idea of a forum is to bounce ideas off each other and seek opinions.
