"Pressure Guard" for tyres
Discussion
Noticed an advert in the motoring Times today for Pressure Guards (www.auto-unique.co.uk/prodtype.asp?PT_ID=37&strPageHistory=cat).
They are supposed to change colour when tyre pressure changes. This provoked me to checking my tyre pressures (OK), and the wife's. Hmmm Last checked 2+ years ago she tells me and running at about 50%!!
Has anyone tried these things?

Nope, but if they work I'll certainly buy some!
'the coloured indicators will give you a visual warning as soon as just 2psi is lost...'
Given their position they're more likely to be detecting a certain *volume* of air - but can you reset these things afer they've changed?

Apparently you can.
My concern is that its more like 5 psi before theres a clear noticeable change.
