hi there ,my car as tendency to swaying at speed , mainly when accelerating . beleive road condition , doesnt help . and been told that my dunlop semi slick could be a factor too ,,. any tip welcome..

Hi - I suggest it's a process of elimination and look for the obvious. Is the swaying rear wheel or front wheel induced? From your description of it being most apparent under acceleration, it is more likely to be rear wheel. You could start by jacking up both rear wheels and checking for any excessive play in the rear hubs (even a loose wheel nut or worn wheel nut thread could cause problems). This might sound obvious but also check that each pair of wheels and tyres front and back are the same sizes! Also check tyre pressures are the same for the front pair and back pair.
If all else fails, consult an expert - assuming that's possible in Northland!

hi there , you been to nz , are you , thanks for tip, your right , my tire are the same size , 235 /40 /18 . at moment , 28 psi is my presure. about the rear swaying , well what i feel , is that my front is very light , and move like a soap in a bath.. what about my spring rating..and camber and toe in or out..ta
