Coffee Maker Recommendations

Hi all,

I'm thinking about buying my wife a coffee making machine for her birthday. I was going to buy her a Tassimo, but I've seen a few reviews and they're not all that favorable.

What I want is something that can make lattes etc, rather than a just an expresso/cappucino machine.

Does anyone have any recommendations or machines to avoid?

Budget is up to about £150.

Get a Nespresso machine and an Aerolatte http://www.johnlewis.com/230424823/Product.aspx?so... .

Microwave the milk (much faster than frothing with steam) and make an espresso.

Froth milk with Aerolatte, pour espresso on top.
