320d - just bought one + couple of questions.
Discussion
HI folks,
I have just bought a 55 plate 320d touring from cargiant, having chopped in my Golf GTI for it. Got it in black with black leather and very happy with it so far!
I had a couple of questions I was hoping people could help with.
1. Intravee: I was hoping to get an intravee so that I can use my IPOD with the car. I don’t have navigation {It’s the BMW ‘professional’ head unit}, but I do have the CD changer in the boot. Have read a few threads on various forums that have lots of pictures of configurations, but they all show it being used with cE90’s with Nav head units. If I buy an intravee – will it work with the “Business” model head unit?
2. Very basic question (I’m almost to embarrassed to ask) – can the boot be opened from within the car (with the engine running?). Slightly embarrassing moment this morning when I dropped my wife off at the station, and had to stop the engine and take the key out to open the boot, I’m sure there must be a way of doing this, but I can’t find a internal switch!
3. Phone – has phone button on the steering wheel, and the stereo – but I’m not sure if it has the rest of the gubbings for in car phone. Would anyone happen to know if/how I can find out?
Thanks, Ace

I'm not sure about your first question but 2&3 I think I can answer,
Beside the dtc button there should be a button with a symbol of a lock, press this and it opens all doors and tailgate
Does your car have a sharkfin on the roof? If not then it has no phone preparation, if it does have a sharkfin then follow the instructions in your owners manual on pairing up your phone

V happy with my new car, although I'm not about to become a diesel zealot, it's a great engine, but the lack of rev range takes some getting used to!
