The Off Road Expo hosted its second annual spring break show this past weekend at the Pomona Fairgrounds. Vendors showcasing all types of off road vehicle parts and accessories were on hand in order to hand out killer deals to the attending off road enthusiast's.

There was also the Hawaiian Tropic Model Search Contest, the Motorcycle Stunt Show and the first ever “Custom Truck and 4x4 Show” which was open to the general public. The new event was expected to and delivered many of So. Cal’s finest off road and race trucks. John Rivera from Temecula Ca, took home the first place placard.

It took John about three years to research and put his truck together, and from the looks of it, the time and money spent were very well worth it! Here is a little info on John’s Viper Red 2005 Dodge Ram SRT-10:

-Dodge Viper engine, dyno’d, chipped, new headers and K&N filter
-Complete re-geared transmission and rear end
-Custom built suspension with King shock coil overs in the front and 4 King shocks in the rear, with limit straps
-22” Weld wheels on 37 Nitto tires
-The interior all custom designed from the manufacturer, sick dash, Recaro type racing seats with Crow Enterprise sport harness restraint system, six of them
-Powder coated viper red full on roll cage
-830 torque in rear tires to fuel his need for speed
-Infinity multi-speaker sound system

SICK ass truck to say the least! When I asked John what’s next, he said, “Some cool graphics, but nothing overkill”. Expect to see some lightning bolts and big Viper logo. When asked what motivated you to put this truck together John’s response was “for the hell of it!” Must be nice, John? When you look at John’s truck you know that this guy does not settle for anything but the best.

i dont dispute the effort he puts in to bringing items of intrest to us, my point is that
he always claims to be busy at work,and never is !!!!!
as todays efforts on chicks with vipers clearly shows (good job dave)
i rest my case!!
