Avis Prestige

Has anybody used Avis Prestige ? Are they reliable in giving you the exact car you requested ?
If they gave you an alternative, was it close to what you asked for ?

The reason I ask is that there is a wedding of a cousin next year in the South of England and instead of driving over with the car, quite fancy getting a car for a week to drive around in.

They seem to list a few ferraris, lambo's and astons...

I've used them a couple time. Rented a BMW 630 and a DB9. Very good service, top team. I can really recommend them.

I understand the really top notch stuff actually gets subbed out from Dream Car Hire - ask for Tony Rodia, he's a good bloke.

Used them a couple of months ago for their masserati, they use dream car hire as suggested for most of their special cars.

About a month ago a friend hired the Gallardo for his wedding weekend, the car was then stolen about a week before the time required. He was unsure if he would actually get a car at all, but they came through trumps by managing to source another spider in the same colour for him.
