Recommendations for a boozy weekend away in the UK

Hi folks. Does anyone have any views on a city break in the UK for this coming weekend? Priority would be given to excellent bars and full on night-life!! We've done London and Manchester to death recently. Thanks

York is pretty good on the pub and food front, but I wouldn't describe it as full on night life

Cardiff is a good night out as is Newcastle.

I like a bit of seaside with my weekend so Bournemouth or Brighton are good too.

I live in Newcastle and the whole city seems to shut down at 3am, bit annoying if you want to stay out later than that. Very good night-life though.

My vote is Liverpool though. Three years of Uni there, and still the best night out by far. Puts Manchester to shame.
