Sorry folks, not the most enthralling topic but Monaro coming close to MOT time. I realise there have been discussions on this before but what are the issues with taking a Monaro for MOT? Apart from the obvious what criteria should be met?

Thanks in advance.

Fear of it failing because it's a modded Ro...no...fear of the workshop monkeys taking it out for a spin......yeah.

Take it somewhere trusted and you should be fine, or stay with the car whilst it's tested. I got my first MOT done at Monkfish this year. One of the only places on the planet I would leave my car and not think twice about it. As I said in the other thread...sailed through.

I can't see why there would be any fear of taking a Monaro for an MOT ?? I use to take kit cars to MOT places where they had never heard of the car before !! I got use to saying that every feature was 'special' smile
