Hmm work related revenge....

Ok so the score is, and i need to be vague about this i'm afraid, where i work the guy i work with is constantly trying to deflect st off onto me, be it time that i've had off (even though i've made everyone aware, well the people that need to know)he's consitantly out of the office on fridays for "meetings" which never seem to return any sales, chips off early and generally gets away with everything under the sun and tries to make me out to be an utter .

Something recently happend which has pushed me over the edge, essentially stealing one of my contacts and making a sale from this. he doesn't know that i know this.

I now need to get revenge, however i feel that this should be in a work related manner, in order to oust him as the ball bag that he is.

I need to try and get in a half decent print & design contract, whilst juggling a few other things, i've looked into it but i cant find a decent list of events for say 2010-2011.

Does anyone know who the best person is to approach in a company to discuss print requirements & does anyone know where i can get a comprehensive list of events? I dont have time to cold call loads of companies, personally i dont like doing it either as its bloody annoying for those who don't need it.

Any help on this one would be appreciated.

1. Fiddle the fk out of his expenses claims over a protracted period of time. He won't query getting more in his pay than he's expecting. If you get mileage allowances or that sort of thing that is.

I can appreciate what you are saying and i wont be here for much longer, its just something that's really annoyed me.

I can get decent sales in, organise other aspects outside of my own job description and still have time to do other things, yet he makes me out to be something i'm not, just deflecting his own short commings onto me.

So if i can get this done before i leave, i'll leave happy in the knowlege that i've exposed him for what he is.

Usually i couldn't be arsed, but the whole two faced thing has really racked me off.

See if you can find a list of events being held at the ExCel centre? They tend to have lots of exhibitions and the like, some of the companies that use them could probably use a good programme to highlight which companies will be there, where they will be in the room etc etc.

Hi Mclovin. I have this exact problem at my work at the moment so you have my sympathy.

New guy comes in, tries to steal my customers but I called him out early on that on, won't help around the company at all (we're a small place and everyone mucks in on the house-keeping), is incredibly sexist towards both the female staff and clients, ignores direct memos sent to him by our line manager concerning his behaviour, treats some of the legal systems we have in place with total contempt but.........

(And this is where you need to be a little careful if you not the big boss, Mclovin). Our big boss thinks this guy is great. Now if this has anything to do with the fact new guy belongs to a certain 'evening social club' that they both belong to remains to be confirmed....

As mentioned above, find another job if you can. I know I'm going to. Had a enougth experience of the crap in previous jobs.

But at least I have one advantage over him. I know we're losing our biggest customer in December and I don't think he does. By which time I will hopefully be long gone.

Out of the blue an ex-employee innocently sent me some photos from a works night out.

Showing her 'all over' the Senior Sales Manager (Samba night)

So I innocently sent them to... the National Sales Team, with a great piece on team building.

She couldn't touch me, as it was a above board....

Yep seems to be pretty much the same scenario, although i think the MD is sniffing about due to recent conduct and abuse of freedom.

I'm looking at leaving asap, a mate of mine is starting a business so i'll work with him and get a part time job, just to tide me over until i get sorted.

Or just change the settings on his computer, for instance the moment he pops away to the loo hold hit shift+alt and change his keyboard settings from UK to US – small but annoying things. Then you could be really patronising while you fix it for him.
