I would like to put the vented/4 pot brakes setup as i got 8.4" 2 pot/non vented set up already

Do i need an metro drive flange, Metro turbo vented disc/pad/capilers to fit?

and do i need to machine the metro flange's wheel central lungs thingy, and fit to vented setup?

Im pulling my hair out as i was told serveral version of story about fitting vented disc setup.

How Do!

You will need:

Metro Disks (vented)
Metro Calipers (4 POT)
Metro Drive Flanges (with the Lugs Removed)
Metro brake Conversion Hoses (nice Aeroquipe ones!)
Sorry to say this but new disks and pads!

As you are running disks at the moment you can use your current hubs and CV's

If you get all this from the breakers with the new stuff, Disks Hoses and pads you can get a nice set up for under £100.

Hope this is of some help

Doesn't this require some changes to the suspension geometry as well - e.g. neg camber bottom arms etc.???

Only if you fit metro hubs, these give you a +1.5Deg camber but if your using mini ones its ok. The only thing it does do is increase your Front Track by .5in ( I think ).

You can use any that are from a vented disk set up car. it think it has to be from a 86> car.

Very rare to see a solid disk set up in a breakers now, it would have to be a very old metro!

Not too sure about that! I have only used Metro ones in the past.
