What a great video.

As great as fast jets are I have to say I like the c130 best in that video. Its smoothness and grace just completely belie its age. Looks positively majestic.

LOL I envy the people who live locally, but I bet it'd be one of those things where you never do what's on your doorstep. You into watching/photographing lowflyin stuff then?

Something in the Shropshire Star the other day. I believe locals were moaning about the RAF low level training in the area. Some ejit whining about a Hawk & Harrier nearly having a head on over Bala lake , and a week or two ago a Harrier and F15 had a close call near Cad West. General noise levels on top of the rant.

If they don't like it , they should bloody move!

I read en article from one of the North Wales newspapers online about the Hawk and Harrier. 9 meters between them!!

Noise levels - the miserable bds if theyre passing over it only lasts for a few seconds! They can go low level over my back garden then please!

lucky me was at Fairbourne, near Barmouth all week

on Wedensday saw, High level only sadly, two F15s and scad loads of Hawks heading inland from Barmouth, Hawks much lower and aerobatting as if it was going to go out of fashion

The F15s came out of the hills curved round as if on rails and high tailed it back up country.

On Monday I saw a Hercy coming inland just as we arrived near the coast

I had a great week

noise every day and sightings of Hawks very often

I do like Cardigan Bay!

Some good spots there mate. Get any piccys? I was at Tywyn back in July and had F-15's coming from Tal-Y-Lyn lake way (Cad pass) creating huge vapour ribbons over the sea and then flew back in a diamond 4 fomation smile
