Gerald has a new boot rack

While I was at TVR Car Parts I saw the stainless steel rack produced by TVR for the S.

This is what it looks like




Its bolted through the boot lid so will need holes etc but I have a spare boot lid if I ever change my mind. But current intention is to replace rack when not needed by fancy headed bolts, I'll post again when I've done it.

How much was that? I wouldn't mind one for more luggage space for when I go galavanting off next Summer.

What with the boot rack, fold away soft top, reckon you've gone for the wide apart tail pipes so you can get the tow bar on for the luggage trailer !

Well that would certainly solve the problem of the boot lid jumping off the latch and turning into an air brake.

I saw one in the same place (Dulfords reception) and I think it was only £125

I wonder, do the roof panels fit on it neatly ? it would free up luggage space and not look too high on the back rack.

That said, the wife and I did a 10 day tour through France with the roof off & had enough luggage space. It was only the 3 cases of wine that made it hard work on the way back
