Hi,

Just picked up my new C63 today, wow, what a noise!! Amazing car, can't get rid of this smile....

Couple of questions, how do you import your names and numbers from your mobile phone? I am running an iPhone?

The 1800 miles service to have the LSD oil changed, is this free of charge?

Many thanks

I've had mine for 1 year and 16k miles and am loving every minute!! Did you get the both the drivers and performance packages?

The diff oil doesn't need to get changed at 1500? miles as the sticker on the windscreen says. I had a dozen conversations with MB Brooklands service dept regarding this, and they called up the factory. It's only for black models apparently, so 'why the hell don't you put that on the sticker' comes to mind!! Still don't know what the interval is, but they changed mine at my request for piece of mind at the first service.
I have an Iphone too and can't transfer my contacvts, etc. I think it's just not compatible.

First tip - if you're using the car on trackdays (I've done 2) or like driving sideways everywhere, ditch the factory Yokohama tyres. They're quite grippy, but I got through mine in 6k miles. I now run Pirelli P Zero Rossos which are even grippier and should last longer. Saying that, mine are near the end of their life and I'm going to try some Toyo Proxes.

Second Tip - expect to visit your local petrol station frequently!!!

Love my C63, insane car! Can't help with the Iphone as I have the same issue, I have manually added my top 10 numbers and that usually is enough for the time being.

I've just put my C63 Carbon Diffuer on ebay take a look too!

Hi all....Just 4 weeks ago, I've also just took delivery of a new C63 AMG and having previously owned an e92 BMW M3 and a BMW M6 previously. The C63 is almost as quick as the M6 but handles much better; it's much much quicker than an M3 but is not quite as 'precise' although is just as much fun - I've never experienced a car so easy to slide! And the best thing, as most people mention is the sound...I don't think I'll every tire of hearing it!

Mine is fully loaded...it was an ex-demo from MB Central Birmingham (with 300 miles on the clock, I got 18% discount!) and has every option ...PP, Drivers Pack, Luxury Climate, Sunblinds everywhere, Adaptive Lights, Harman Kardon, Parktronic, Comand....the list goes on! I'm just waiting for info on my 'free' driving day that comes with the Drivers Pack - does anyone know where it is and what you actually get as the dealer knew very little?

With regards to Bluetooth and contacts, I have to say that the MB system is rubbish and way behind the BT facility offered in the BMW which simply reads your phone book from the phone everytime it pairs. In the C63, you have to either type each contact in manually or import the phone book but whatever you do, if you make changes to your phonebook in the phone, you then have to update the car manually!

To import the whole phone book, I think you need to have the iPhone adaptor in the centre armrest. If you do, you paid the phone to the adaptor (yes, as well as pairing it to the car!) and then it is registered in Comand as 'Convenience Phone'. Once the Convenience Phone is registered you can elect the option to import the data. It's far from simple so if anyone wants specific step by step instructions let me know and I'll write up a how to guide properly.
