Superfresh - 63k service at Topgear

Just thought I'd share.

S2 111s in for 63k A service at Topgear in Wolverhamptonshire today + fitting of a recon steering rack (to remove a bit of wear/play) and the fitting of an Eliseparts Gear Linkage (seems to get good reviews) and Quickshifter (seems to get mixed reviews) bits and I'm well chuffed, the whole car feels much tighter and zestier and just like new, only better. I think the gears will take a bit of getting used to but they feel very solid and I'm sure will start to feel great once I get used to them. Excellent service from the guys down there, esp as they had to stay late to hand it back over. Top Banana.

Yeah, it looked quite 'work in progress', yours? Being swamped by a 'rumble' of TVRs and a nice but a bit lived-in pearl White esprit.

It looked like it would be well smooth with a bit of a tidy-up.

You have a prang? front clam off, no wheels. There were a nice set of anthracite alloys sitting by the desk, presumed they were yours.

Yeah, a little one... the Avensis infront stopped and I didn't. It was written off but I bought it back for a good price to fix myself. Should have all the bits now.

Those are my wheels. They're metallic black but there is that much metallic in them that they look grey

Was the clam off it? (Edit: Obviously it was, I just read you're post again... lol!)
