Me and the GF were play fightin 2 days ago, it seems in our playing about I fractured her arm/wrist in 2 places, bassicly she pulled me and I fell back onto the bed backwards landing on her arm. not a massive lad but am big enough (obviously).

Thing is people are treating me as if I have just smashed the girl in the face. Mostly my own Mother! just had a right ear bashing when she heard!

I was wondering why if a girl gets hurt in ANY way shape or form when a man is involved its seen as so bad. I mean its not like I just took a swipe at her!

Any of you guys done similar things to the mrs? I need some stories where you guys have accidently done something similar to stop me feeling so guilty! frown

On the other hand, consider the upside.

You: Get us a beer, would you love?

GF: I'm watching me shows. Get one yourself.

Lean over, gently kiss her cheek, while softly stroking her arm. Look into her eyes, and sigh, pat the arm twice and then give it a little squeeze. Just a little one. No pain, merely a little pressure. Maintain the eye contact, and sigh again.

GF: Do you need a glass?

Not quite the same as play fighting, but about 10 years ago, two days after Christmas, I took the Mrs. out with me up into the mountains where I used to fly model gliders. It had been snowing but it was fresh stuff and easy to walk on. On returning to the car I told her NOT to walk across the car park as that had been made slippy by the cars compressing the snow, but to walk around the edge, and be careful! She was carrying the wings of my lastest glider. I took my eyes off her to carry on talking to a friend and looked back to she her going ass-over-tit in the middle of the car park!
Wrist broken, Glider wings broken, and somehow this was my fault!!
I have never been allowed to forget that day, if it wasn't for my silly hobby etc. etc........

Once, (and I can't remember how we got onto the subject) Mrs Zep asked about how to punch.

The conversation wended its way along to the point where I offered to (gently) demonstrate the benefit of following through with the punch, to her shoulder, cushioned by a sofa cushion. She happily agreed to the demonstration.

I then landed a half-hearted 22%-effort punch to the cushion on her shoulder.

She hadn't braced herself properly, and toppled off balance, backwards, over the sofa and onto the floor.

Then, she bloody started crying. Couldn't believe it. My 'punch' would have barely shut a cupboard door.

I hadn't hurt her shoulder, apparently it was the shock of going arse over lovely tits. But I suddenly felt like a wife beater.

That said, I've never beaten a woman up and tried to pass it off as 'play-fighting' on the internet to strengthen an upcoming domestic violence prosecution.

GF actually walked into an open door once. no assistance from me hehe

result... black eye and lots of blood.

EVERYONE would pull her to one side asking if she was ok whilst looking at me, implying that im some woman beater.

we'd just laugh it off... well mostly i'd be laughing at her, but i digress.

i cant see how real woman beaters get away with it.. i mean, EVERYONE sticks their nose in, ALL the time!

Seven or eight years ago I was living in a houseshare and one of the French girls was mugged and punched in the face yards from the front door on her way home! I was the only one to volunteer going to casualty with her and the police.

Yep I got lots of bizarre and accusing looks as I tried to comfort her whilst waiting to be seen. What was equally annoying is that for some reason she was not xrayed. When she went to France a few days later she discovered she had a fractured eye socket!!
