I'm off to the Lake district at the end of October for another working trip and normally I pass through Lancashire on the way up, and the way back..
Can I help you with anything at all?
Cheers
Tim

Hi Bud

Just you opinion really for now, would you recommend a detail at the start of summer i.e May or at the end ? I am worried if I go spending 2-300 quid with it coming to winter the money would be wasted and I would not see the benefit for long enough.

Whats your thoughts?

Its good to protect your car for the winter if its an everyday car.
if its a toy thats high days/holidays sort of thing I'd save it for the summer months.
"My" ideal scenario customer wise is to do a full detail April/May and get the car looking good, then go back at 5-6 months and give it another full detail so its protected and ready for winter.

You'd be looking at £200 for that, and normally + travel (but as I'll be in the area we can work something out there)

Best wishes

I think before any prices are agreed, you both might want to clarify what a "full" detail entails? machine polishing etc? This way it will avoid any potential upsets down the line.

Good point Paddy!
For me a full detail has NO machine polishing. Its a wash, clay, cleanse and wax regime followed by an interior detail.

If I'd been asked about a correction detail I'd have quoted something different as you know Paddy smile
I'd certainly NOT commit to a correction detail on a Zed without seeing it and measuring the paint (or trying to smile)

My paint is in the low 60s in places so Tim is aware of the issue.
