A warning for tunnel users - if you're riding low with all that camping gear, etc then ask to be put on the lower level when you drive up to the cars.

I just did a weekend booze run in the Griff and on the way back was directed up the ramp to the top tier - I didn't think anything of it, but found that with a full load of wine the Griff's ass was dragging the floor up and over the ramp, and making some solid contact over the ramps between each carriage. Riding one tyre up on the walkway helped and I don't think I took any real damage but wouldn't have had any problem on the lower level.

And in case you wondered - 6 doz wine and 4 doz Nastro Azzurro fill up a Griff's boot nicely

I've been on the upper and lower decks without any problems, and the V8S doesn't have particularly good ground clearance as TVRs go. But with that lot in the boot you must have been virtually riding on the bump stops, so maybe not surprising you had trouble!
