My neighbours are having maritial difficulties, he hasn't been living at the house for the past few weeks. Yesterday morning, he turned up in his van and they had a big tiff out the front of the house, lots of name-calling, allegations and threats. Silly business.

Anyway, I came home from work last night to find one of their garden sheds parked in another neighbour's garden and the other one smashed to bits. Even better, the one that is smashed to bits is joined to my fence, so I'm missing a fence panel!

Did he stop there? No, he's ripped up their sprinkler system and just left it lying, he's ripped out a fence that he put in for another neighbour and right now, right this minute, he's lifting paving slabs from the driveway.

Now, I've known for a while that he's what is technically called a "Bellend" but this level of pettiness is pretty high. FFS, the couple have two kids - what will they now think about their dad? That he's a big fat fking jerk, that's what!

I'm really disgusted at the neighbour who now has the garden shed, him and his two sons are out there now helping the big fat idiot lift these things into his van. It's one thing taking a side about who is in the right, but to actively take a role in taking all this stuff from someone who is now a single mother of two is quite a dirty public slight in my opinion.

Could you be that petty?? I'd like to think that even if my wife and I hated the sight of each other, I wouldn't be so pathetic as to rip up fences, sprinklers, a driveway and deny her the use of 2 sheds! What a cock.

Oh dear. That is petty, people need to learn to let stuff go. (Not their belongings obviously.)

This is how petty someone can be; a friend of mine recently got divorced from his wife.

It didn't end brilliantly, but equally it was nowhere near as bad as some marriages can get.

One night, just before going out, the wife laid on the floor and screamed the most ear piercing, shrieking horrifying scream you can imagine. Got up, lent calmy at my friend and said "ha, that's fked you, the neighbours now think you beat me up".

Yup - that's how unbelievably ridiculous such people can get.

He should have done. 'If you're going to do the time' and all that.

Unless the shed that he did smash he did with all the correct tools, and measured up the job first, by using the equipment from his non-smashed shed?

My Dad split from his 2nd wife a few years back.

They had to get a mediator in to help them split up their posessions the night before they moved out of their house to their respective new properties as they just couldn't agree who was having what.

On moving weekend, she spent a good 30 minutes provoking my Dad about plant pots and who got 'custody' of them in the greenhouse. My Dad just kept repeating himself that he just didn't care...

Mind you, when she eventually buggered off with some finest terracotta she dropped 3 on the drive and smashed them. She actually seethed to turn round and finding my Dad and I pointing, laughing and doing a high-five hehe
