Well just comments wanted on the website really as its just been re designed, what does everyone think?

http://www.artistsholiday.net/

Its supposed to be fun and a little quirky.

Does it load fairly quickly for everyone?

A few people from PH have stayed here so if you have any comments then that'd be great.

thanks

Colours are horrible (you can't read the link buttons), and it doesn't resize properly on mozilla, just twitches....

It all worked fine for me in Mozilla and I could read all the buttons quite happily. My only criticism is that when I went to LOCATION I was kind of expecting to be told where it was, rather than the sights of south west Cornwall. Nice looking place too and I would be very tempted if I didn't have one of my own....

Overall looks good.

I will second the comment about the colours for the links - I had to really look to determine what a couple of them said (and the red on pink for the first link was very difficult). Can't advise on which colours to use but would suggest you discuss with an Artist (since that is who your target market is) and keep in mind colour blindness (Red/Green is the most common but is not the only one). Edited to add that I am using IE.

Location should provide a map - however I do like the photos so find some way to keep those (possibly a separate link?).

Oh and the Calendar, under the rates link, I would suggest moving it away from the right edge and more towards the middle. Just looks wrong where it is at the moment.

Thanks for your input, i think you are right about the colours/text, need to get that sorted out this week!

The cottage isn't really targeting artists as such, its real name is Mount View (as it over looks St Michaels mount) it was called "artists" cottage in a bit to make it appear higher up on searches etc.

I'm not sure myself as i think it can be taken literally rather than just a name, however i don't see any advantages of re naming it now?

Not bad. Marazion's a funny place. I did a part of my teaching practise at a local school there. Very odd students from Marazion. A few years ago, it had the highest % of smackheads in the whole of the UK!

Well done on the site. My only gripe is that it's a little fiddly.

I clicked book here on the information page and it took me to google maps ?

Also I take it there is no parking around there, couldn't see any mention or anything from google maps.

Otherwise looked different.
