3.0TFSI engine

I am really loving this engine in my A6. Not sure whether this is true or not, however the salesman was told by an Audi tech, that this engine could be tuned upwards to 600 BHP!! Probably reserved for the hot RS models..

If true that would be astonishing, however it seems that there are no real players in the market that can re-map this engine, considering it has been out longer than a year and will be quite an important engine for Audi in future cars, I find a little strange...

I am pretty sure MTM offer tuning packages for the 3.0 TFSI

MTM don't offer a remap.. They offer some sort of bolt on unit...Anyone else?

As it's supercharged rather than the usual Audi turbo efforts I wouldn't be surprised if there was a bit of a wait before tuning options become more common. It's only very recently started selling in any numbers in Europe.

Im no engineer (far from it) but it seems like a replacement for part of the ECU? OK, not strictly a 'remap' but not what I'd term as a 'bolt-on' (like bigger mechanical parts etc)

Of course I may be (and quite often am) wrong

There were rumours of a twincharged version of this lump for the next RS4...
