Whilst driving today, stopped at a set of lights on an almost empty dual carriageway, a builder's type van/lorry pulled up along side me. This was followed by the driver ( youngish bloke ) revving the engine nudging forward. When I looked across he shouted "That's a beautiful car you have there - you're a very lucky man !" When the lights changed he said "Go on, give it some mate", which I did, and I shouted "thanks very much". I was chuffed with that I must say !
I had only had my 911 3 days when i took the opportunity to drive it to the local retail park to buy some dog food - usual excuse to go for a blast of course. In the car park I stopped, let a woman and her 2 (rather chavvy) children cross the road, despite there being a zebra crossing about 10 metres further up the road). As she walked slowly in front of my car she turned to me and shouted "to55er !".
In contrast, every time i take the Noble out i get admiring looks and pleasant comments.

Some of you guys/gals should have been around in 2003/4 when they new new, extremely rare and unknown. People would stop you absolutely anywhere, I even got knocks on my door from neighbours and passing motorists to show them the car on my drive/in my garage - seriously!
...and trying to get in/out of a petrol station was well - very lenghty!

Hope the gaggle of Nobles get some admiring looks this weekend in the Lake District, last outing this year for Shar's baby.Always get a good response from this car, people giving compliments and double taking. We drove my friends 997 turbo around his local town and nobody even seemed to notice, then i took him in the Noble for the first time, we took the same route, and people were pointing and tapping their mates on the shoulder.
You will always find you will get a great response from people who see the car from an elevated position on the roads, because when you are looking down at the car it is probably its best angle.

Have loved the Noble since I saw my first one coming out of Port Solent. Been lucky to own one now. Had a funny comment the other day someone asked me if it was a genuine one or a kit car copy. Always had good response its amazing how many pictures have been taken while we have been on the move. Hope the new 600 carries on this respect for the Noble.
You will get that a lot people asking if it is a kit car, because not many of the Joe public have heard of Noble and i must admit the clamshell fasteners do give it a bit of a kit car look, i think i have found some nice replacements for them though.
The M600 should get the general public more informed on Noble as a brand, so hopefully we should not get the "is it a kit car" question as often.
These aero catches are what i have been thinking about installing for some time, but not sure how they will perform on the curved surfaces.

that sums up why I bought my Noble . My brother wanted me to get a 355 but I just wanted a Noble ! ...still glad I did !

Not sure it's the fasteners that are to blame - the McLaren F1 uses the same ones and most people don't think that's a kit car.
