When Kubica joined BMW they said what car did he want?

He said a Mitsubishi Evo!

I like the guy, very down to earth and definately a future world champion.

He's a big rally fan, so the answer isn't surprising. smile Not sure if BMW execs were impressed!

A lot of drivers are very humorous. Kubica seems to have a very dark and dry sense of humour.

I think after winning a GP (it might have been Monza), Vettel was told it must be the best day of his life, to which his reply was: "You obviously weren't there when I lost my virginity."

Webber's pet name for Nico Rosberg is "Britney"! And according to Webber, Rosberg has the worst fashion sense on the grid (gotta agree with that).

For 2009, when Kubica had lost a lot of weight, Lewis was heard to quip it was because he had stopped eating "KFC and all that".

Oh, and according to Lewis, Nico likes to drink and party a lot at nightclubs. Nico's reply was that Lewis was trying to ruin his professional reputation.

There are heaps of other funny comments drivers have thrown about. It's a reminder that although they are highly accomplished sportsmen, they're still just boys and blokes.

It's a real pity that they are so stifled by their corporate minders. Of late, it does seem however, that same of them have been given a slightly longer leash regarding making comments.

That's quite funny!

Back in the day when there used to be a Swedish race, Jochen Rindt invited the drivers back to his inlaws place (his wife was Swedish and his Father in Law was the circuit organiser.) in the Swedish lakes. A few of the guys were doing saunas, then jumping in the cold lake. There was the typical competition of who could stay in longer, Graham Hill and Rindt were the last ones in, Rindt then said that he had had enough and put some water on the stones and walked out. Hill then started feeling very funny so got up to try and walk out but found that he had gone very light headed. When he made it outside, all the others were pointing and laughing at him because Rindt had put Vodka on the stones rather than water. Hill said it was like being really drunk for a minute or two, then sobering up with no hangover very quickly.

Bit O/T, but anyway.
