Bugger that, but I think Young George mas maybe just won the Tories the sodding election.

Never thought Id be that impressed by Young George, Im almost staggered. The audience was absolutely silent and you got the impression that everybody was thinking very hard about what he said!

I know I'm turning into a boring old man when I actually want to watch Question Time in my mid-twenties.

Bugger.

George is surprisingly good.

A lot of bleeding heart public sector whingers in there and a good few chippy lefties!

Whenever Labour try to play the idea that they are somehow less privileged than the Tories I want to throw things !! Labour are just as much from the privileged classes in many cases.

Is Cooper paid for every time she says 'Inheritance Tax'?

As for the public servant whingers...public SERVICE..the clue is in the name.

You will note they are not called 'Public Wealth Generators' or 'public GDP Enhancement Officers'.

Public service is essential - but it is an overhead. Under this govt it has become even more bloated, inefficient and complacent than before.

There needs to be less of them, working more days/week with less holidays and the govt needs to start funding the (over generous) pensions.

Same here, glad I'm not the only one.

Hislop really should be on every week though, preferably sitting next to a Labour MP at all times.

Osborne was quite impressive.

I cannot stand Yvette Cooper. Or her husband.

Must admit I had to chuckle when that bloke with the mahoosive lump / cyst / boil / spot on his forehead asked the last question and in her answer Sarah Teather in full flow said "... we have to lance the boil..."

Ooops!

The look on her face when the word 'nepotism' floated across the table.

Ah, Bless!

A great pity that when she was spanking on about 'The Rich' and inheritance tax that Hislop didn't point out the considerable portfolios of Lady Peter, Lord Drayson, Blair, Darling et al.

Edit - Poor Spooling.

He's always good value. He was particularly good tonight at dealing with Cooper, who is truly repugnant. Her and her odious little turd of a husband would be amongst the first up against the wall come the revolution.

Some years ago when husband Jeffrey was doing porridge Mary Archer was on QT with Hislop and he absolutely destroyed her when she spoke in support of her lying criminal of a husband. That's the great thing with Hislop, he will go after hypocricy regardless of political persuasion.

think Hislop was the star of the show.

Rose was the most 'impressive' closely followed by a surprise surge up the rails by young George.

Sarah (FUnny little girl who has never had a job) even knocked that odious little bh into last place!

Just my opnion obviously... smile

The Libdems put Tether up a lot. I think it's because she comes across as quite sincere and always speaks reasonably sensibly. Plus the fact that most of the other leading Loons are either weirdo carpet munchers or, in the case of Opik, just plain weird.

According to the Times Charles Kennedy was supposed to be on instead of her. Presumably he was slumped unconscious somewhere and she had to step in....
