This 'time heals' myth is pure nonsense.

It doesn't get better, the pain in fact intensifies with the growing realisation that it really was all your fault and the reason you threw away the best thing you were ever going to have is that deep down you know you are a truly horrible person and deserve to be alone.

Get used to wry pitying looks from supermarket cashiers as you openly weep whilst paying for your 'serves one' ready meals, lambrini amd cake and be aware your many cats actually hate you and are merely awaiting your death so they can feed on you.
