Off to look at one tomorrow for my son. Had W140 and R126 myself in the past is there any particular problem with these cars? Thanks in advance

If this one isn`t any good , I`m just about to advertise my E220 1995 with 90k miles , full history and 12 months mot and 6 months tax in North Yorkshire !

Make sure the seals dont let water in around the pillarless doors and the history is complete

Take a look in the thread above for some hints, though I don't think the head gasket and wiring loom issues affect the 220 as much as the 320.

Your son has good taste, I think they are fantastic cars. Had mine just over 4 months now and love getting into it every time.
