W209 CLK 320 Cdi Sport- A few questions..

The car in question is a 2007 320 cdi sport, I have no previous experience with clk's so would really appreciate a bit of help. The questions aren't neccesarily specific to a 320 cdi sport, the same could probably be asked regarding any W209.
1- The car has an ipod connection facility instead of the standard 6 cd changer usualy found in the glove/boot. It has already been installed and is integrated with the command system, and can be operated via both the command and also steering wheel from what I was told and have read.
This is what has been fitted:

At the moment when I open the glove what I see is the larger end of the white cable in the picture on the link above. I don't own an ipod so don't know much about them- is this the end that plugs into the ipod itself or do I need to buy a further cable to connect the end in the glove to the ipod? If so, where would I get this from I am clueless when it comes to ipods never used one before. Looking at it, it definitely seems to big to plug into an ipod?
Does anyone know what types of ipods e.g. classic, mini, nano these types of ipod kits are compatible with- I'm only going to use the one I buy in this car and no where else so if the mini is compatible I will just get that 300 songs is more than enough.
2- Does anyone know where I can get a genuine amg badge for the boot from? As the car has factory fitted amg body kit, rims, spoiler, pedals, dials, mats I think the badge would complete the car but am not sure where I can get the genuine chrome badge, not the fake plastic chrome effect stuff thats all over ebay.

Is this website legit- the picture is very small and can't be enlarged so it's impossible for me to tell just from that photo.
If anyone has any idea's or has bought a genuine badge from somewhere else please let me know.

I posted it in the mercedes forum didn't I? This to my knowledge is the main (and actually only) dedicated mercedes forum on this particular site?
If I'm wrong on either count someone please correct me, in the mean time if someone who owns a clk could give me some advice on either of these two issues that would be great.

Also for COMAND related matters, Alfie will be able to help.Thanks, I'll post my question on there as well- I have had a look at one of those forums in the past, some very experienced mercedes owners on there for sure.

The above site sells quite a lot of them, and they claim they are genuine but I am not familiar with them- can someoe confirm if the amg parts listed as such are in fact genuine?

The larger end of the white cable plugs directly into the IPOD. I think there was a recent change to I-Pods in terms of power so it may not be compatible with all of them but if you want one in the car buy an earlier one (off EBAY) and save some money. The ad does say they work with every I-Pod.
If you want the genuine AMG get one from a dealer. You will pay more but you will get the original.

Your right, it does fit directly into the ipod, looking at them it goes into the same slot as the ipod charger cable, and is identical shape and size.
I was thinking of getting the cheapest ipod from argos (around £30 for the shuffle) as I will only ever use it in the car and it holds around 300 songs which for the amount of driving I do (not too many long journeys in this car as it's not my main drive) is more than enough.
But since you mention they changed the power, I'll have a look at the older models too, the shuffle is a new model which I belive is meant to replace the mini so maybe it won't work. Will have a look at one this week.
On the AMG parts- I had a look at their official site and couldn't find any UK stockist details on there. I'll ask my nearest mercedes garage as I would like to have the twin exaust (same as the clk 55 amg, 280, 350, 500 sport) fitted as well. Being a 320 sport (diesel) my car just has the single oval pipe.
It's not a particularly big garage though, not much choice in cars and certainly nothing as exotic as an amg...still worth a try I guess.
CKS performance have the exhasut I want listed for 518 but I have no way to tell if this is genuine or not. The picture seems a little suspect...
