Cracking film. Pretty thin plot, but laugh out loud funny, with some genuinely scarey moments - and Emma Stone is very easy on the eye. If you like Shaun of the Dead, you will probably like this film a lot. Well worth a watch IMO.

Sounds about right smile

Amusing, semi-comedy zombie film. Great cameo appearance as well.

Probably one for a DVD rather than the cinema though IMHO.

The trailer for it certainly makes it seem funny.

Think, as above, I'll wait for the DVD.

And Bill Murray is excellent. Really tongue-in-cheek.

I thought it was great. Some laugh out loud moments and plenty of gore - particulary at the start.

Would recommend it

I was cautious about seeing this as felt a traitor to SOTD. Went to see it on Wednesday with Johnny and was pleasantly suprised.

Great characters and script. Excellent gruesome deaths, and laugh out loud funny. Short and sweet.

Kids are watching Ghostbusters 2 at the moment hehe The hoover scene in his house was amusing.

But I swear Tallahassee says 'There are six people alive in the world and one of them is BM'??

Both of us have decided a world with Zombies would be excellent fun!!

I thought it was pretty grim. The Bill Murray appearance was one good part in amongst a film where I pretty much fell asleep.

Ok it mocked the whole zombie film genre and if you watch enough zombie movies you'll like it. To be honest though I didn't even find it a particularly good popcorn film anyway.

No where near as funny as Sean of the Dead IMO. Resident Evil is better for gore and watching zombies getting taken out. Sean of the Dead is better for laughs.

I wasn't expecting much but still came away disappointed.

Watched this last night,

Great film, really nice play with the rules and gave it a little something more. Good mix of characters and was quite amusing.

I have not laughed that much in ages, I thought it was great a really relaxing, silly, fun movie.

The Deliverance gags were hilarious.

Does anyone know why he painted the number 3 on the door of the cars they had?

I loved it, genuinely LOL'd at times. Only beaten to the top of my 'favourite flicks of 2009' by district 9 smile

Hope they do a sequel, with Emma Stone. She will be mine, oh yes, she will be mine.

A quick Google suggests 3 is painted on the side to mimic Dale Earnhardt's racing number...

I watched this today with the gf and we both really enjoyed it.
As above, a great film that didn't follow normal film 'rules', i.e.

... get to know 'em - funny scenes - angry scenes - make-up with each other - funny - death of characters - end

I really didn't want any of them to get killed and I was happy that they didn't as it would have ruined it imo. I was giggling like a lunatic just wishing I could make that run through the park with all those weapons biggrin

Emma Stone is gorgeous, did anyone else think she looks like she could be Goldie Hawn's daughter? It's those lovely eyes that get me.
