....on my baby!!! Local youth in a 205 with twin dustbin sized pipes coming out the back (photo should be sent to Top Gear BTW ) keeps setting my alarm off everytime he passes

I suppose someone was bound to take revenge on me for setting off the neighbour's car alarms over the past 10 months or so

At least I know the bloody thing works alright!

BTW, since the service, she pops and bangs proper. Set off five alarms in one street last night

....you were driving too slow....if you were going quick enough you would have passed these cars before they had a chance to detect the noise levels from your zorsts....

Best i've had so far is a complaint (although not nasty) that I got the neighbours cat to jump off the window in his home with such a fright at starting up my Cerb that he didn't land on his feet. Didn't think that was possible, but proud none the less.

Class

So many incidents but one of the funniest was two old ladies dropping all their shopping bags after starting up in Tescos....Evil I know but tears of laughter. I offered to help them, they were laughing too. They said it sounded like a lion had escaped

Does anyone find after filling up with fuel then firing up, you normally get a very loud bang, they're the funniest. There's a sort of feeling everytime you start up that you're sitting in a bomb waiting to explode!!

classic following cerb450's car through Romsey, setting off car alarms. Then he set one off with no sign of a parked car anywhere around. ooops, that will be a shop alarm then. Bet the owner was chuffed being dragged down to his shop on a Sunday.

They're the best - I haven't worked out how to make it happen every time but I'm working on it! Makes people jump out of their skin every time.

They are aren't they

Normally find it happens when I hold down that 'magic' button and don't press on the accelerator pedal. Or sometimes just press the pedal down a tiny bit but gently.

Could be a load of bocks though and just hit and miss. Still, whenever it happens I'm in heaven

Our neighbours were disappointed when we sold the Chim a few years back as they had thrown away their alarm clock.

Now we have the Griff, they've thrown the clock away again!

PS - I know it doesn't pop and bang like a Cerbie but it's still a great noise and feeling ...

I wish I had never seen this post.

I had noticed that more car alarms seemed to be going off in the high streets of South Hampshire when out in my Cerbera but I'd put it down to an uncanny coincidence. Now I know different. Thankfully, I don't think I have set any car alarms of in my own road - yet. For the ones I have set off, I have been long gone, hopefully the owners will blame the buses.
