Of a Tuscan Speed Six Engine.
Anyone know where i can get a diagram from?
Everyone keeps talking about this and that going (finger followers etc), but i havn't a clue what they are or where they are in the engine, or what they do!
I was thinking that if i'm to get a Tuscan soon i need to know as much as i can before i get one (in case something goes wrong, God forbid)

If you only have limited knowledge of general engine design let alone the SP6, any problems/issues you have will have to be taken to the dealer or Blackpool.
Only the most compitent of engineers amoungst us would consider tampering with the engine.
By the way, the followers are little bits of hardened steel that move up and down about 58 times every second (move at half engine speed, based on 7000rpm).
Unfortunately I do not know where you could get an exploded engine view from.

With regards to the workings of engines,i recently got a book which is pretty good on explaining it.
It's called fundamentals of motor vehicle technology by v.a.w.hillier.
It goes into details about everything.Obviously not about s6's but gives you a pretty good idea what goes where and connects to what.
Some of it is a bit hard going but for £20 i think it is well worth it.Kinda got an idea about things when people on here start on the techy stuff now.
