I think Delta have ceased trading, not sure what happened to the aircraft.

WLAC is in Berkshire - but yes, there are Tiger Moth trial lessons available, at £149 for 30 minutes, but the operation is seasonal because it gets too bloody cold in the winter - not sure if they've stopped running them for this year though.

I guessed with the demise of Delta that WW might be the next closest thing.

Seasonal - meh. Its not Tiger Mothing unless you lose feeling in your face.

Well, it is the West London Aero Club, where Soft Southern Shandy is available on draught in the bar.

Obviously, in Yorkshire, Tiger Moth flights are available year round, provided the mandatory maximum crew clothing allowance of a pair of speedos and flip-flops is adhered to.

Thanks for you help guys, I have found www.flyevation.co.uk down at Redhill in Surrey, looks like that fits the bill, very close to me as well.

Andy.

P.S. Just looking for the flip-flop polish. HA, HA.

Ok, it's not Surrey but Tiger Airways www.tigerairways.co.uk based at Gloucestershire Airport operate Stampe SV-4 biplanes which are basically Tiger Moths built in Belgium. Only real differences are a tail wheel (enabling use on tarmac) and additional ailerons on the upper wing which improve manouverability.

They operate all year round and offer the chance to experience aerobatics (on flights 20 mins or longer) and the chance to fly the plane yourself.

You may have seen Tizi Hodson (chief flight instructor) displaying the aircraft at the Donington Renault World Series events.

I can thoroughly reccomend them as I have flown with them numerous times and worked as ground crew during the summer!

If you're interested they also operate Stearmans and Slingsby Firefly and RF/6

Going up Saturday afternoon (weather permiting) looking foward to it, out of Redhill.

Also try The Tiger Club at Lashenden (Headcorn) in Kent. I flew in a friend's Tiger Moth from White Waltham over the summer and it's definitely a "do before you die" activity.

Well what a fantastic flight, little cold up there but I felt very safe, will do it again when it's a little warmer.

Andy.

P.S. Does feel a bit like being strapped into a big flip-flop with wings.
