Rear wheel bearing
Discussion
well the noise does seem to be coming from front passenger side, I have moved the front wheel by hand, cant feel any looseness, having the wheel off tomorrow see if I can find summat wrong, its quite a rumble and worse around 15mph you can hear a donking sound and probably every revolution, but does not get worse when cornering, normally if its wheel bearings it will get worse on cornering.
No definitly not that sort of noise, you can here it mainly at about 20mph turning or traveling in a straight line, seems to get more audible when it has travelled more than 20 miles, I can't find any looseness at all in the wheel bearings on the front, may have to look at rears just to rule them out.
Perhaps it is coming from the rears? now I have checked the fronts and all ok, got to now check rears, working from tomorrow so will not check rears till sat, got to modify my hyd car jack to be able to slide it under car LOL its sometimes nice to go back to work to get them things sorted out
just making smaller wheels should sort it out.

Without a service manual at the mo, I am unsure what a strut top bearing is, is that on fronts or rears ? I like all this info
I hate not knowing anything

Keeps the spring at the top of the front shock absorber, contained in the plate that performs that function. Between the body of the car and the top of the spring shock absorber assembly.
