Z3 problems....

Hello, on the weekend visiting my dad he complained about some noise his Z3 was making so we went for a spin. It seems to come from the passenger side, I think more the rear than the front. It only does it turning sharply at low speed. It's a rubbing sound rather than grinding and only after the car has warmed up rather than cold, it's all original so there's no wheel rub etc. It's a 2.2 on a 51 plate, has anyone else ever had this and know what it may be before he wastes his money at a garage?

Probably a broken spring or a stickin caliper..
