M3 E46 Key Re Program Success!

Chuffed to bits, just saved myself £90+VAT for a new key plus cost of re program!
Got back to the car the other week to find the key wouldnt unlock the car via the buttons, so could only use the actual key and hence had no alarm
This saved me -
Sit in car with doors shut
1)Insert key and turn to position 1 for 5 seconds
2)Turn back to off and take key out
3) Press and hold unlock button for 15 seconds
4) Whilst holding unlock button, press lock button 3 times within 5 seconds
5) Let go of both buttons
If this has worked, the doors will lock and unlock to signal it
Result!
