Hello, Ive no idea which forum this should be in so i thought here is as good as any.
Im after the price Costco charge for cadbury's fruit and nut bars in a box of 48. thats the standard sized ones with 7 or so little pieces involved.
If it comes in a lesser or greater pack size then the price per bar will suffice.
Not having a card I am unable to find out for myself. I dont even know if Costco even stock it!!!
If anyone can tell me how much it costs i would appriciate it
(it will help me decide whether or not to get a card)

As someone who used to sell sweets, chocolate, crisps and cans of pop at school for pocket money I always found that the supermarkets worked out cheaper than the cash and carry. Even when I worked at Booker at one point and had staff discount it was cheaper to buy the 5 packs from Asda.
Even these days I only use Makro for fresh meat, washing powder in big packs and the odd frozen item if it is on offer. Everything else, booze included is cheaper in Asda.

You don't need a card to go into Costco, just tell them you're thinking of joining up but want to check the place out first....
I was in the Leeds one on friday and they had a 4.5kg Toblerone for £40.... the chunks were like fricking housebricks!!!
Some stuff is cheaper in the supermarkets, especially if you hunt down all the 3for2's and bogoff's....
But the food is better, there's more choice, you can buy shed loads at a time, and there's not many cocks wondering round looking for teaspoons and White Lightning....

TBH Booker is quite pointless if you're not reselling the stuff or having a huge party of some sort.Costco is best for most people, followed by Makro.
To be honest supermarkets are usually cheaper.
The bars you were looking for where just on offer in co-op 4 for £1 so would have only worked out at £12 for your 48 bars, which works out at about 25p a bar. Unfortunately the offer just ended.
Shop around you will, more then likely, find them cheaper elsewhere.
